The largest timed ultra in the United States, The Howl at the Moon is held at Kennekuk Cove County Park on a 3.29 mile loop with excellent support from Kennekuk’s outstanding volunteers. Registration is closed when field is full. A list of participants will be posted at www.kennekuk.com within two weeks of the event. There will be NO exceptions, refunds or transfers of division.
Friday evening event & packet pickup
Run/Walk one loop of the Howl for the participants, their family/friends and Howl workers at 6:00 pm. Packet pick up is being held on Friday, August 10th at the race site from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and in the morning of the event from 6:15 am to 6:45 am.
Aid Stations and Camping
There are two fully stocked aid stations on the course. You can set up a tent/camper along side the start/finish area Friday. You are able to stay there until Sunday morning. You must keep your site clean.
Special Awards!
Every participant that run/walks 35 miles or more will receive a Special Award in honor of the 35th Anniversary of the Kennekuk Road Runners.
