My mom and I officially started our half marathon training today. We both are now signed up for a track membership at the DISC (Decatur Indoor Sports Center), which is a couple blocks from my house. We figured it’d be nice to run inside on a track when its 90+ degrees outside with a heat advisory. We ran 1 lap/walked 1 lap around the track for 30 min today and quickly discovered that the track is NOT air conditioned like we thought it would be. Oh well. It was still cooler than outside.
