This run is to benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at OSF St. Francis in Peoria, IL. Madeline Grace Koll, was born at 23 Weeks and 5 Days, weighing 1 lb., 4 oz. Through the tireless work of doctors, nurses, and specialists, she is now a thriving, healthy five-year-old. We want to be able to provide the assistance that we received through our NICU journey, and seeing as how we have benefited from funds raised from walks and runs, we wanted to do our part.
The course for the race winds through old and new sections of scenic Elmwood, IL. It is a mix of large/small hills and flat paths, and will also take you through our town’s historic cemetery. Packets contain donations from local businesses, and there are door prizes, finisher medals, and costume prizes. Registrations received before May 24th are guaranteed a t-shirt. Registration can happen up to 1 minute before the race begins. If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
