Now in it’s 12th year, Get Lit is a fun way to “run” in the new year! Open to men, women and children, this event is a non-competitive run/walk on a two-mile paved course through the Folepi’s Winter Wonderland drive-through display. There will be no vehicular traffic in the Winter Wonderland during the run/walk. All participants must remain on the main road through the Winter Wonderland due to the numerous guide wires that hold up the lighted displays. No dogs are allowed on the course.
Hoodie sweatshirts will be available in sizes small-XX-large. Sweatshirt orders must be received by Dec. 17.
A post-race pizza party at Avanti’s Ristorante will follow the fun. Food is furnished; drinks will not be provided. For more information, contact Jim McIntyre, (309) 253-2420.

Location
The non-competitive fun run/walk is through the Festival of Lights Winter Wonderland. The run/walk starts behind Lincoln School located at 801 Springfield Road, East Peoria, Illinois. Parking is available behind Lincoln School and over flow parking at East Peoria Methodist Church, 800 Springfield Road.
Packet Pick-up
Packet pickup is December 31, from 10:30 to 11:45 p.m., in the gymnasium at Lincoln School. Entrance to the gym is behind the school.
Course Description
The course is approximately 2 miles on an out and back course through the Winter Wonderland in East Peoria, IL. The Winter Wonderland is located on Par Three Lane off of Springfield Road in East Peoria IL, just behind Lincoln School. NO PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO RUN OR WALK OFF OF THE MAIN ROAD. There are numerous guide wires that hold up displays and cannot be seen in the dark. These guide wires are very dangerous. NO DOGS ALLOWED ─ NO EXCEPTIONS.

$14 for Get Lit only. $26 for Get Lit and hoodie sweatshirt ($29 for size XXL).
